Business Development Manager South England
Reporting to: General Manager
Location: Field-based with home-working flexibility
Package: Competitive salary + bonus, company car, mobile, laptop
What you’ll be doing:
You'll be out in the field and on the ground, leading growth across your region. From nurturing existing relationships to opening new doors, you'll take full ownership of your territory, and help shape how Craig & Rose shows up in new spaces.
- Build trusted relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Drive revenue and margin performance within your territory
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to grow the footprint
- Deliver impactful product training that brings our portfolio to life
- Manage your time smartly with strategic journey planning and focused visits
- Keep CRM records clear, accurate, and up to date
- stay one step ahead of the competition and share relevant insights
- Prioritise accounts that offer the biggest commercial impact
- Lead monthly forecasting and regular reporting
- Stay plugged into what’s happening in the market, regionally and nationally
- Protect ROI by managing time, spend and company resources effectively
What you’ll bring:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in business studies (or relevant field)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a sales or business development role
- A proven track record of growing accounts and launching new products
- Commercial smarts: analytical, numerate and outcomes-focused
- Self-starter attitude, you're confident working independently and as part of a wider team
- Attention to detail and a natural sense of urgency
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital tools
