Step 2: Tape the Design Crisp, clean lines are essential for a professional finish. Use painter’s tape to outline the sketched design. Apply the base colour over the tape to create a tight seal between colours, preventing bleeding. Peel off the tape to reveal sharp, defined edges. Pro tip: Chalky Emulsion paint delivers a luxurious matte finish.
